Christ or Crush? (His Muscles)

My boyfriend works out at the gym when he gets the chance, which I love. I’ve always thought strong arms were so attractive. Apparently, you agree with me!

But as strong as your crush is, and as strong as I think my boyfriend is, their muscles are nothing compared to Christ’s strength. Let me give you three examples.

I’d love to hear from you. How strong is your crush? And, how strong is your Christ?

      You’re welcome, Brooklyn!

  • Loved it!

Well, my crush is totally muscular. Every time he flexes his biceps, I blush… but I know that Christ is my true hero and that he’s better than any guy could ever be.

My crush is pretty buff but my walk wiyh God is even stronger

  • You’re mixing up physical strength (muscles) with the power of God that we don’t really have a category for.
Jesus’ biceps? Well the bible doesn’t speak of it. As there were no Gyms in Roman era Palestine I guess Hi biceps were about average, nothing worth noting (which would explain why the bible doesn’t note it).

You look at what is worldly, physical: the muscles, while God wants you to focus on the heavenly things, the nonphysical. As flesh will vanish, so will the muscles. Cling to what will remain.

Yep, De Benny. In this video I don’t talk about Jesus’ biceps, but about His power in creation, redemption, and His resurrection.

      Blessings,

Haha this really made me grin!! My crush has quite the arm muscles (and muscles everywhere else lol) and when we were on our way to Mississippi he was showing them off. I got kinda red and everyone was talking about them and he looked at me and said “Do my muscles intimidate you?” and I’m like “Well not too much lol”. It was really funny! I know my walk with Christ is strong as well! Christ is my rock and my fortress, and he will always protect me. My favorite Psalm is Psalm 91, it is the ultimate protection psalm!
