HEY, GIRLS! We love hearing from you, but feel limited in the ways we can help. For one thing, we’re not trained counselors. If you’re seeking counsel, we encourage you to talk to your pastor or a godly woman in your life as they’ll know more details and can provide you with ongoing accountability and help. So I was wondering if there are any you guys have read that you liked..... i got a list from friends last year but I've read almost all of those... And I'm to much of a scardy cat to just go pick up a book and hope by what it says on the back that it's good.... So any ideas???????

    music?

for the past month-ish or so i've been trying to make good choices when it comes to reading books and watching movies, but im having a difficult time trying to determine what music i should or should not listen to.

for example, im sure everyone here would agree that classical music is okay to listen to and that hardcore rap is probly not. but what about rihanna? she doesnt talk about sex in her songs, however for some reason i feel like a good Christian girl wouldn't listen to her music. or how about Christina Aguilera (I LOVE HER!!!!!). or Evanescense??? its these "in between good and bad" songs that i get confused about =[ lol i took all of the songs i was confused about off of my ipod and i had almost no music left!!!! hahaha

so could a good Christian girl please tell me if they think its okay to listen to flyleaf, rihanna, christina, britney spears, evanescense, kelly clarkson, etc? it would help me out sooooo much and i would be so so so grateful!!! =D

    Thanks!
