Are you heading somewhere fun for Christmas break? Maybe you’re off to the mountains to ski, or on your way to grandma’s for some yummy food and family time. Why not take us with you?

We’d love to see pictures of you, especially when you’ve brought your copy of "Lies Young Women Believe" along. We’ll post pictures of your Christmas break happenings right here on the lywb.com blog. Here’s how it works.

1. Send me a photo of you (and your friends) holding a copy of “Lies Young Women Believe.”
2. You can email your photo to erin@graffitiministries.com.
3. I will upload them in this post as I get them.
4. Check back often to see pics of other truthseeking gals from around the country (maybe even around the world).
5. I reserve the right not to post photos if I deem them to be inappropriate.

I’ll even get the ball rolling! Here a few photos of me with my family (we were feeling to squirrelly to take just one). Notice I am holding my very well worn copy of “Lies Young Women Believe,” signed by Nancy herself. It is one of my favorite books!

I can’t wait to hear from you (and see your pretty faces!)

I am so glad you are reading "Lies Young Women Believe." I am not sure I understand what you are needing help with. Could you clarify for me?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I received your book from my parents for christmas, and I am loving this book. I never knew how "blind" I was at not being able to notice the lies that I believed. Since reading this book, I have already started to change the way I have been living and training myself to recognize the lies and with your help become free of them. Thank you so much for writing this book it is very encouraging, and I have felt better since I made that decision. My goal is to focus more on God and my studies at college than on boys and the negative thoughts I use to have.
    Again Thank you :)

Me and my cousin just started reading your book. It was a gift we got from our Grandmother this Christmas. We are reading it together and both love the book. Some of the things we are going through we thought no one else is. The book is helping us realize we are definitely not alone. We really appreciate the book and the confidence it has given us.

Hey, I got your book for Christmas from a friend & I just want to say this book is amazing. One of the chapters that has opened my eyes the most is the one about the future & what women are really expected to be. The purpose of dating is to see who you will marry, & my boyfriend & i have been dating for almost 1 year. It is important to me to have him be able to read the Bible with me, study it with me, & so much more. I truly want my marriage to be based on God & just reading that chapter it has helped me figure out more what I am going to do with my life. For awhile I have been thinking about that & have been thinkin about being like a stay at home mom & all that, and the chapter on marriage/relationships have helped me immensly in deciding what I am going to do in the future. Thank you so much for writing about that subject..it has helped alot. :)

I just finished reading the book, and I was surprised at how much the book actually applied to me. My parents gave me the book in efforts to help me not screw up my life. At first I was skeptical but it has really been what I needed to get back on tract. Thanks!

    Hi! :)

It was kind of funny because last June/July, I was looking through a Christan book store catalog and I saw LYWB and I was like Dad can you buy me this for my birthday? And then he laughed and was like I already ordered it for you. ;P So that's when I first got your book, I wasn't expecting anything really new or something I hadn't seen before but your book was definitely inspiring and encouraging. When I read it, it made me feel so much closer to God. It's also very true, although I don't struggle with many "lies" (probably because I'm homeschooled and not around so many of those lies all day) it still is a really good book and contains many truths. This past Christmas my sister actually bought me the same book, so now I have two haha. I'm not sure what to do with my other book. I thought of giving it to someone else, but I'm not sure who! Anyway, thanks so much for your book, I'm not sure what my spiritual condition would be right now if I hadn't read it.

I bought this book last December and I am so glad I did. I have always been struggling with my faith and my sins. But thanks to this book, I realised, I'm not the only one. And I actually have a way to start over. Phew!! Now I'm in chapter 4 and have a personal journal too..and its really helping me! :)
