Final Advice From A Fiery Fighter Of A Grandfather

Meet Del Fehsenfeld, one of the coolest guys I know. Recently, I heard him share the final words of wisdom he received from his fiery fighter of a grandfather.

They were so helpful that I asked if he'd share them with you, too.

See, I've been taking his grandfather's advice over the past couple of weeks, and it's been revolutionizing my life!

Anyone else want to take his grandfather up on this little exercise?

I will try to memorize that chapter! Thank you!
This is a little off topic, but I keep letting this guy I like be on my mind way too much. I know I need to focus on God more, but it's hard. Please pray for me.

If you turn to God's word, I'm sure you will find it easier to focus on him. You are in my prayers!

I like this post. :) That's a really good chapter, too. Beautiful. Thought-provoking. Here's a link to it, btw: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+13&version=NLT :) Thanks for sharing, Paula! xoxo

Hey girl! I know that's hard. Trust me, I have the same problem a lot of the time!! An interesting piece of advice I read once is when you think of this young man, pray for him. The devil is less likely to bring him to your mind if it winds up in prayer. Now, for me, praying for the guy strengthened my feelings for him, so if this is the same with you...why not pray for a family member or friend? Or some other issue?
Hope this helps! You will be in my prayers!!

You have received some great advice above, Tabby! As you capture your thoughts and take them captive through Scripture memory and prayer, you will find yourself beginning to struggle less. I’m praying for you this afternoon.

    Hey Tabby,
I know how you feel and one thing that helps me is remembering that this guy that I like is more than likely going to be some other girls husband. Then I pray for him and for me...
    I hope this helps!

I want to do what the grandfather said, my new Spiritual goal that I have right now is to memorize 1 Corinthians 13!

Tabby, I used to have the same problem a long time ago. Pray about it, and read Young Lady in Waiting. That is what got me on the right path away from that situation.

    Thanks!
