well, I'm not much of a writer even though I LOVE to write,but here goes:

I love you, because you are holy, and you forgive us, though we are not.
I love you, because you are trustworthy. You will always keep your promises, and You never tell a lie.
I love you, because you saved me, and took my place by dying for me.
I love you, because you always provide. I never go hungry, or homeless, or needy.
I love you, because you are worthy or devotion and praise. Because you are everything, and all-soverign.
I love you, because you first loved me. You carefully formed me and stitched me together, and then you cared for a sinner like me.

Praise the God of the Universe.
Praise the Soveign One!
Praise the Mighty Rock and Strongtower!
Praise the Shepherd, the One who cares for His flock.
Who formeth the mountains and the seas, who forms all the people and animals.
Who loves us and forgives us, even though we are not worhty of any of it.

This is such a funny coinsidence! My dad teaches my sister's sunday school class and they were learning about David. So my dad told everyone to write their own Psalm! I was helping out in the class so I wrote one too. Here it is-

The dawn is in the east, the dusk in the west. You paint both with gold, crimson, and lavender.
Your love is like the dawn, raising up softly, and your hatred like the dusk, sinking low in the sky.
You hold me with gentle fingers, and made me beauiful in your eyes. Place your hand apon me and move my mountains, looming against me, stopping my path.

Weak and tired, with nothing to give

You have made many other promises to me, which you always keep
I can always lean on you and your great strength and faithfulness
You love me always and forgive me when it's impossible
You never change and I find that amazing
You were always there for me in the past and will be in the future
I don't realize why others hate you so
They feed on the thoughts of destruction
It causes anger inside of me, but you love them still and so must I.
You fill me with so much love, it's impossible for me not to love.
So when it gets hard, I think of you.

I wrote this on time on my way to Ancourage, AK. looking over the Cook Inlet watching the tide come in. it has an amazingly strong tide which you can see moving a crossed the water (I wish I could explain it better.). I had be doubting the Lord a lot that week and seeing the tide with the mountains behind it and the sun shining on it I thought how silly anyone could doubt the One who had created that majestic seen.

Perhaps this is repetitive. But still, sometimes I need some reminders that I am never alone. (A disclaimer: I haven't actually read the Psalms. Yet.)
