Prior to 1998: An editor at Moody Publishers hears Nancy Leigh DeMoss speak on the topic of lies women believe, and thinks it sounds like a potential book.
2001: Lies Women Believe is released.
2003-2007: Lies Women Believe is published in Russian, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Bosnian, German, Korean, French, Romanian, Afrikaans, and Portuguese.
2006: Nancy and the Moody Publishers team begin to seriously consider writing Lies Young Women Believe. They ask Dannah Gresh, an established youth author, to help co-write the book.
2007: Lies Women Believe sales reach the half million mark.
2008: Lies Young Women Believe is released.
